WELLNESS HOUR: Ayurvedic Self-Care for Busy Women
Get centered mid-week with one hour dedicated to nourishing YOU. From breath work to movement to nutrition and health, this hour is devoted to supporting and educating women on all things wellness. We will have free coffee, tea and light snacks to help you wake up!
This week, Julie Bernier teaches women the art of ayurvedic self-care. Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of life, teaches that health is a direct result of our lifestyle. We all have the capacity to awaken deep wellbeing through mindful living. By treating the body as the temple that it is, we reconnect with our true self: that which is vibrant, fulfilled, and peaceful. Most importantly, we’re better able to fulfill our greater life’s purpose.
It all starts with self care — not luxurious, infrequent facials or strict juice cleanses — but simple and subtle shifts that help the body function as it’s supposed to. In this workshop, you’ll learn gorgeous practices from ayurveda’s daily routine that ignite wellbeing. Although these rituals are quick and easy, they can have a monumental impact on your health, your energy, your sense of self love, and your entire human experience.
Together we’ll explore how to break the unsupportive habits that busy women so often fall prey to, plus ayurvedic self care practices including: sleep cycles that give energy, early morning digestion activation, and the most important meal of the day.

Julie Bernier teaches women the art of self-care so that they feel their healthiest and happiest in their own unique bodies. This holistic approach to individualized wellness is rooted in the ancient Indian knowledge of ayurveda: a complete medical science and way of life which explains that our wellbeing blossoms when we align ourselves with nature. Julie is a registered ayurvedic practitioner with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), an ayurvedic massage therapist, and a classical hatha yoga teacher.
